Go knit this: Buddy Bag

Back from Denver, trying to get back into the groove. Today I just want to make sure you know about a new knitting pattern that has just been made available. You have to check out annypurls new buddy bag knitting pattern.

Sure, it’s for “kids” but when something’s this cute, I figure I can upsize it for my use too. After all, anyone who plays as many video games as I do has to qualify as a kid on some level.

I know knit bags are everywhere but I’m posting about this bag/pattern because she gives you not just a really cute bag, but also FOUR adorable finger puppets AND FOUR different front pocket treatments. As an extra bonus the pattern is written clearly and has tons of photos to help you along the way and she includes instructions on how to line the bag with fabric. You can buy the pattern on her site for $6. I’ll post mine bag soon (I think I’ll combine the leaf pocket with the little bird puppet.)

Thanks for the plug! I’m so glad you love it, but especially glad that you think the instructions are clear ;0) I spent as much time writing it out as I did knitting the bags! Can’t wait to see your full size version. Let me know if you need any help upsizing, though it’s pretty straightforward, cast on more stitches for the bag and knit your eyelet row when the bag is your desired height.

    Cheers!
